Press Release September 01, 2009FEI European Reining Championships for Seniors, Young Riders and Juniors: So far, 12 nations announced their coming October 8-11, 2009, Kreuth (Germany)
The countdown has started for the 2009 FEI European Reining Championships at Kreuth (Germany). The event for Seniors and for the first time, Young Riders and Juniors is scheduled for October 8 to 11, 2009, the organizer being the NRHA Germany. The draft schedule is online at www.nrha.de. So far, twelve nations announced their coming: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, The Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Poland and Spain. Austria already published the members of their team: two times NRHA World Champion Open and World Reining Masters Champion Rudi Kronsteiner, Tina Künstner-Mantl, Markus Morawitz und Dennis Schulz. Altogether there is a purse of EUR 17,000.
The team competition will begin on October 8 at about 11 a.m. (Junior and Young Riders) with the Seniors following at 2.30 p.m. The top 20 competitors will ride for individual medals on Sunday, October 11, from 12 a.m. (Junior and young riders) resp. 3 p.m. (seniors). The EC is judged by fine international judges: François Zurcher (SUI), Fabrikant Yaron (ISR), Jeff Delaet (BEL), Sylvia Katschker (AUT) and George Maschalani (GER).
